Orange Cranberry Sauce

This homemade cranberry sauce combines tart cranberries with the sweet flavor of freshly squeezed orange juice and zest. It’s simple to make, beautifully fragrant, and adds the perfect pop of color and brightness to your holiday spread!

Ingredients

12 oz bag of fresh cranberries ⁠
1/2 cup white granulated sugar ⁠
1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice⁠
1/2 cup of water ⁠
2 tsp orange zest (plus more for on top) ⁠

instructions

In a medium pot, bring water, orange juice, and sugar to a boil. ⁠

Add cranberries and orange zest, then reduce to medium heat and cook about 5 minutes until the berries pop and the sauce thickens. Simmer 5–7 more minutes stirring continually. ⁠

Add extra orange juice or sugar to taste as needed. Enjoy with your family!
