Baked Orange Chicken

Cara Cara & Avocado Salsa

Crispy, flavorful, and irresistibly tangy - this baked orange chicken is perfect for a holiday weekend feast!⁠

Ingredients

4 medium Kings River Cara Cara oranges

3 to 4 medium avocados

1/2 cup cilantro

1/4 cup red onion

3 to 4 tbsp lime juice

1/2 tsp sea salt

 

For added spice:

1 jalapeno

instructions

  1. Peel cara caras and cut into 1/4 inch slices. Add segments to a mixing bowl.
  2. Dice avocado. Add diced avocados to the mixing bowl.
  3. Add cilantro, red onion, jalapeno, lime juice, and sea salt.
  4. Gently toss everything together.
  5. Taste and add more salt or lime juice to taste.
  6. Serve with tortilla chip or over tacos.
